Dr. Bryan Frentz
Dr. Bryan Frentz, or “Doc” as he is often called, was born and raised in New Orleans. He is the son of two physicians. Doc is married to a nurse, Tracy, and has two children named Caroline and William.
Doc received a Bachelor of Science degree in Biochemistry in 1995 from Tulane University. He attended the Tulane School of Medicine from 1995-1999. Doc then completed a one year internship in General Surgery and then completed his residency in Orthopedic Surgery at Tulane.
Doc and his family relocated to Lafayette exactly eight weeks before Katrina and joined the Hamilton medical Group.
Dr. Frentz has a deep faith in God and considers medicine his true calling. He has a love of family, all things Tulane, and is proud to serve the medical community of South Louisiana.
Meet the Staff
We are very professional and qualified while also keeping a healthy balance of fun!
Tracy is our clinic nurse and office manager as well as Dr. Frentz's wife. Tracy was born in New Orleans and relocated to Lafayette to attend college. Tracy received a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Southwestern
Louisiana in December of 1992. Following graduation, she returned to New Orleans and worked as a Pediatric Nurse at the Tulane Hospital for Children for twelve years. Tulane holds a very special place in her heart for it was at this hospital that she met her husband, Dr. Bryan Frentz. A fun fact is that she worked as the nurse for Bryan's mother who was practicing Pediatric Endocrinologist at that time. Tracy retired from Tulane for two special reasons, Doc and Tracy's children, Caroline Claire and William Gary.
Following their births, Tracy was blessed to be able to be a stay at home mom for 15 years. With the children growing up, Doc and Tracy decided to embark on a dream that they have shared for years, to build their own medical practice. With a heart full of love for medicine, patient care, and all things south Louisiana, Doc and Tracy chose Morgan City to build their dream. It is here that we have found our place to fulfill our calling. It is with gratitude and humility that we are able to work hand in hand, and side by side to care for all patients. Thanks to all of you for being blessings to us and our family.
